Hi there! I'm KK and this is my little corner of the internet. Welcome!

I recently finished my PhD in Materials Science and Engineering and I am now an engineer working in medical device R&D. I am obsessed with shiny new things, like a magpie, and find new craft projects work on and hobbies to get into. My professional life revolves around of working with metals. Outside of work, I like to work with soft materials, aka fabric and yarn. My other hobbies are salsa dancing, eating, and watching musicals. This blog is my space for documenting all of my new shiny craft projects.
