knitting in barcelona

這個帽子沒什麼特別的 很 plain 而且很麻煩 the end.

Making a 2x2 ribbed hat from fingering weight yarn is one of the worst knitting ideas I’ve ever had. It took forever. I did a good portion of the knitting while I was in Barcelona for the ellipsometry conference. The final product is just… OK. I don’t love how the decreases look, but I really like the color of the hat. I’m planning on adding a pom pom so hopefully the pointiness of the hat won’t be so obvious.

Yarn: Knit Picks Palette in Autumn Heather ($2.27/ball, used 1.5 ish balls)
